Travel in 2023

It has taken me way too long to get back to you. Unfortunately, this platform isn't as user friendly as my last platform. I'm working towards writing in here daily. The goal is to talk travel in some capacity for as little or as much as I'd like daily.
The last post is from 2018. So much has happened in my life since 2018. I ended up landing a job at one of my favorite companies in the world in 2018. I travelled regularly to San Francisco to work there too.
I spoke on stage in front of the whole company 2 months into my time there.. Major lifetime accomplishment for me.
At the end of 2018, I travelled to the Caribbean island of Antigua with a friend and fell so hard for several of its 366 beaches!
In 2019 I took my parents to London for. a long weekend and we had a BLAST.
Later on in 2019, I went to Mexico City and Antigua, Guatemala. Absolutely incredible trips.
In January of 2020, I went with my work husband to Madrid and we ate our way threw the entire city.
In March of 2020, I travelled to LA with my dad to meet my sister.
While we were there the entire world shut down, thanks to Corona Virus.
Im May of 2020 my dad died and I died for a long time, sometimes I wonder if I'm still alive.
I didn't travel from March 2020 until June of 2021... I went 450 days without getting on a plane.
When I finally did, I travelled back to where I fell in love with the world... Brazil.
After Brazil, I went to Serbia and Greece that summer. Interesting experience.
In 2022, I started my travels out going to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands... lovely details there. Then I traveled half way across the United States on a 14 day road trip with my sisters, niece, and nephew. It was INCREDIBLE!
We visited Des Moines, Iowa, Omaha, Nebraska, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Cody, Wyoming (so flipping beautiful), Billings, Montana, Boise, Idaho, Bend, Oregon, San Francisco and Los Angeles. I also visited Detroit, Michigan, Austin, Texas, and Dallas, Texas in 2022. In November 2022, I was flown to SOUTH AFRICA on a PRODUCTION and fulfilled a life long dream to travel internationally for work - doing something I LOVE. I fell so hard for South Africa!
It's now March 2023 and I have travelled to Boston so far.
I don't know why, but it's so hard for me to write when I've missed some places, but... now that I've written about nearly every place I've visited... I feel caught up and now I can write freely.

Travel is and will always will be a huge part of my life.

Live your life YOUR way,

LMJ
